Psychological assessment and therapy for adults with a wide range of psychological and emotional difficulties. Highly specialist assessment and psychological therapy for people with intellectual disabilities who live in supported tenancies or at home, and consultation for their support networks. Neuropsychological assessment.I am skilled in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic psychotherapy.
A number of reduced-fee places for individual therapy are available, however, there may be a waiting list for this.
For solicitors
Medico-legal assessments, neuropsychological assessments and reports, for people who do, or do not, have a neurodevelopmental disorder (e.g. intellectual disability, Autism Spectrum Disorder), Post-Traumatic Stress and adjustment disorders following trauma/accident. Forensic assessments (pre-sentencing, fitness to plead).
For Case Managers
Psychological and cognitive rehabilitation for people who have experienced psychological and/or physical trauma following an accident or event. I can attend case conferences and multi-disciplinary meetings as required to facilitate the coordination of an individual’s recovery.
For GPs and other professionals
Working therapeutically with people with a range of cognitive and/or physical disabilities. This can provide more timely intervention where services are delayed or unavailable within the local NHS.
Availability
The practice operates on Fridays. I also offer weekday evening appointments, and can accommodate weekend appointments.
